Remove Your Family Data

We're sorry to see you go. Here's everything you need to know about deleting your data from DS Family.

How to delete — step by step

Open DS Family and go to My Family

From the main screen, tap the navigation menu and select My Family.

Open Settings

From the My Family screen, tap the Settings icon (⚙️) in the top-right corner to open family and account settings.

Select "Delete Account"

Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen and tap Delete Account under Account Settings.

Confirm the deletion

You will be asked to confirm. Once confirmed, your account and all associated data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted from our servers.

🗑️ What gets deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from DS Family's servers:

Your user profile
(name & email)

👨‍👩‍👧

All family memberships and family data

📍

All location history from your devices

📱

All device records and settings

📊

App usage summaries and screen time data

📌

Saved places and geofence events

🔔

Notification and alert event logs

🔑

Authentication session and access tokens

This action cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, all data listed above is permanently erased. There is no grace period or recovery option. If you are a family owner, your family group and all its data will also be removed.

👤 Removing a single family member

If you only want to remove one person — a child or a co-parent — rather than deleting the whole account, you can do this from the My Family section without deleting your own account:

Go to My Family → Settings

Tap Manage Children or Manage Parents depending on who you'd like to remove.

Select the member and tap Remove

Confirm the removal prompt. The member's family data — devices, usage history, and location records within your family — will be permanently deleted.

ℹ️

Removing a child also removes all device data and records assigned to them. Removing a co-parent removes their access but does not affect child devices they were monitoring.


📧 Can't access the app?

Request deletion by email

If you're unable to access your account or the app, you can request manual data deletion by emailing our privacy team. Please include the email address associated with your DS Family account. We will process your request within 30 days in accordance with UK GDPR.
